As a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Canada , Primus Canada has over 100,000 Internet subscribers accessing 46 national points-of-presence across Canada .   Position Overview: The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the Primus Service Platform. This includes but is not limited to, fixing server/service related failures and software related failures as they arise, as well as day to day monitoring of applications and enhanced services for the Internet and the Voice Services platforms. Responsibilities: ·          Assist NOC and Technical Support by resolving service related customer/network outage tickets and network-wide trouble tickets.   ·          Identify reoccurring service issues and where required escalate to Service Platform Engineering team. ·          Build automation into all parts of day-to-day tasks and duties. ·          Administer the Primus Canada customer facing service platforms including but not limited to Cloud Platform, VoIP Platforms, Web Platforms and other services. ·          Administer servers, applications, and enterprise storage systems in a multi-vendor environment. ·          Provide Network Change details to the NOCC with regards to implementing systems and application changes into the Primus Network infrastructure. ·          Capacity manage Services, report and analyze performance and trends within the Primus Canada Services and add capacity where required.
