Overview The Senior Manager, Service Platform role leads the Infrastructure, System Engineering and Administration and Security Operation teams of Primus Canada’s customer facing services including but not limited to Cloud Computing, Hosted PBX, Talk Broadband, Email, Web Hosting, and supporting infrastructure including server, storage (NAS/SAN), monitoring and security systems. This role will develop and ensure the stable operation of the organization’s customer facing services. This includes planning, engineering, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all existing systems’ hardware and service applications. The Senior Manager, Service Platforms will lead & direct the activities of a team of resources to efficiently handle trouble tickets and resolve hardware, software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The Senior Manager, Service Platforms will hire staff and conduct performance reviews as defined by the HR dept .
Responsibilities
· Lead and mentor a team of managers and technology professionals in their day-to-day activities.
· Manage Production, and Development/QA Service Platform Environments.
· Ensure Security and Compliance (SOX, PCI, etc).
