DESCRIPTION Hatch is seeking an Intermediate IT Support Technician for its Calgary Office. Reporting to the IT Site Lead, the Intermediate IT Technician will be part of a team providing IT support to Hatch employees including: Windows 7 and Windows XP administration Hardware support for desktop PCs, laptops, multifunction devices, VoIP phones Software support for desktop PCs & laptops Rebuilding and reconfiguring of PCs & laptops Application support for MS Office suite Basic network troubleshooting Other duties as applied. QUALIFICATIONS Essentials: Successfully obtained a certificate or diploma in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited organization. 5 to 10 years of experience as an IT Support Technician. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all forms of PC related problems. Well developed communication/negotiation skills Ability to function well in a team environment Strong customer focus Willingness to learn Desirable: Any Microsoft Certification Experience using Service Desk tool to take ownership of, and resolve,  support requests Specials conditions of Assignment: Hours of work will vary between 7am to 5:30pm (a normal 8 hour day will apply, however starting and finishing times may need to be staggered on a rotational roster).
