& Deliverables: ````````````````````````````````````````````````` *
To manage technology projects under the direction of the Town’s Project
Management Office;
*
Direct and manage several concurrent projects from beginning to end;
*
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on the business need;
*
Develop, use, and maintain project plans and communications documents;
*
Liaise with project stakeholders regularly;
*
Track budget expenditures for the project;
*
Work with IT managers to secure required resources;
*
Independently set and manage project expectations with team members and
stakeholders;
*
Identify and manage issues early;
*
Provide weekly and monthly status reports to stakeholders, including PMO;
*
Assist with the management of the PMO process;
*
Develop and grow business relationships and confidence with IT;
*
Conduct project after action reviews and document lessons learned.

Mandatory:

A degree or diploma in computer science or a related discipline pertinent to
the job function;
*
Minimum Five (5) years of experience of hands-on software development
experience;
*
Minimum Seven (7) years of experience in Project Management;
*
Minimum Three (3) years of experience in Project Management in software development
/ implementation projects;
*
Experience in deploying complex IT infrastructure;
*
Public sector experience;
*
Experience in package software implementation and management;
*
Experience managing several small / medium sized projects;
*
Proven track record working independently;
*
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project;
*
Technically competent with several development tools; familiarity with .Net,
JSP, and/or Oracle;
*
Experience at receiving broad direction and working independently to deliver
positive results;
*
Demonstrated ability to react to project priority, adjustments, and alterations
promptly and efficiently;
*
Adept at conducting research into project related issues and acting on findings;
*
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective consulting
relationship with internal clients;
*
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in
cross-functional teams;
*
Demonstrated ability to bring a strong customer service orientation to your
work.
