DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible to
direct and participate in the analysis, design, evaluation, testing and
implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise Solutions (HRMS, FSCM, and Portal),
provide day to day technical support for assigned systems, contribute to the
overall planning of projects and issue resolution by recommending approaches,
identifying resources, and developing timelines, follow documented procedures
for configuring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, coding the application/custom
interface routines and mentor and educate other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must be a highly motivated
individual who can work independently and with project teams. The ability to
establish and maintain effective working relationships and possession of
excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability
to develop and troubleshoot using the PeopleTools tool set, including
Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Messaging,
Integration Broker and Component Interface. Ability to develop in and
troubleshoot using SQR, Crystal and PS Query and write and execute SQL.
Well-developed organizational and analytical skills are also required. The
ability to estimate and track project task timelines is essential. Experience
working on many projects at one time and effectively prioritizing work would be
considered an asset. Working with business users to analyze business
problems as well as propose technical solutions. These skills would normally be
acquired through the completion of a degree/diploma in a computer-related program
of study from an accredited institution, supplemented by considerable recent
related work experience. Experience with PeopleTools and Microsoft SQL server
is required. Experience with XML, Project Management, Java, .NET and a
Higher Education organization is desirable. Cross-cultural awareness and
previous work experience working in a multi-cultural or international
environment would be an asset.
NOTE: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the State of
Qatar visa process.
