Manage the fabric and finish development activities 2. Provide technical fabric guidance to merchandising, design, technical,and sourcing teams 3. Specify the technical details of new fabrics for suppliers to develop from, request fabric testing as needed from mills 4. Receive all fabric submits and offer feedback to design team, maintain fabric library 5. Manage sample and yardage requests for in house sampling 6. Collaborate with sourcing department to make sure that development is running smoothly 7. Communicate and coordinate efforts in fabric development to team Criteria: 1. 5-7 years of fabric and product development experience in the fashion industry, knowledge of fabric construction, finishes, testing and quality control 2. Solid experience working with overseas factory to develop fabrics 3.
