Commercial account currently has an opportunity available in Montreal,
Quebec for a Networking DRC (Direct Response Channel) Specialist. This
position will be responsible for promoting the Networking brand,
providing support to the sales teams and serving as a dedicated resource
for new business opportunities with high revenue partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer education and briefing of the Networking brand and products at customer meetings
Provide pre-sales support on Networking products, programs and promotions to sales teams
Serve as a dedicated resource that leverages the sales
organization, expertise, and breadth of resources to facilitate
Networking objectives
Identify product gaps within categories or solutions and communicate findings to the management team
Market and promote the brand via email blasts, telemarketing and customer list development
Drive demand generation activities. Plan, track, and measure the success of these activities (based on availability of funding)
Mine pipeline and close Networking business opportunities
Partner show/event provide assistance as required to promote Networking products at partner shows / events
Provide Networking product education via seminars / webinars to reps and customers
Provide technical, sales or other certification training for employees:
Formal Training with classroom, webinar, lunch and learn
Articulate Networking solutions and value proposition
Provide technical insight, assess designs, complete configurations
Understand competitive landscape and provide monthly feedback, market intelligence and competitive insight
Drive floor days to increase Networking product awareness and sales
Plan and execute internal sales promotions (as required based on availability of funding)

REQUIREMENTS:
4 year degree in Information Systems, Business or IT related field, or equivalent work experience
3-4 years of sales experience required, technology related preferred
Demonstrated success in achieving assigned quota
Excellent sales and presentation skills
Previous account management experience needed
Ability to comprehend complex technologies
25% travel required
