We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT Team. Reporting to the I.T. Manager, the Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various e-academy systems to include desktop PC?s, servers, network equipment, and software applications. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain e-academy servers and services both local and outsourced. Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all servers and services. Monitor, plan, and coordinate the distribution of client/server software, service packs and operating system updates. Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement. Manage and maintaining the enterprise backup environment. Perform on-site and remote technical support. Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources. Create and maintain good technical documentation. University or College degree in computer related field Minimum 3 years senior administrator experience Current MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) certification or equivalent Microsoft system experience. Expert/Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory LAN environments including GPO , NTFS permissions and certificate/PKI service management Expert/Strong understanding of enterprise class backup applications, preferably Microsoft DPM and IBM Tivoli. Expert/ Strong understanding of Windows Server 2008 R2 Internet Information Services (IIS) managing and maintaining web farms Expert/Strong understanding of server and desktop virtualization, preferably Microsoft Hyper-V (VmWare, Windows Virtual PC, Oracle VirtualBox, Xen, etc.) Expert/Strong understanding of enterprise class firewall/UTM configuration and management (Juniper, SonicWall, Cisco, etc.) IDS and VPN technologies Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols, infrastructure and architectures including the ability to provision and manage routing, switching and other network related infrastructure Strong understanding of modern telephony systems including PBX and voicemail systems and VOIP integration, provisioning and management Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 deployment and administration. Experience with Microsoft Cluster for various workloads such as SQL server, Hyper-V, etc?
