Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Healthcare Location: Toronto Total Income: $115,000 Description: We are looking for an enterprise sales person with a track record of selling services to companies with 1000+ employees. We are working with a leading healthcare provider. They provide programs that extend employee health and benefit programs, and employee assistance programs. The core service focuses on supporting patients to navigate the healthcare system, and get services and diagnosis faster. For example, one of their services provides insurance to cover private MRI scanning so a patient can get an MRI quickly versus waiting for months for OHIP to provide the service. The service is sold to mid-to-large size companies with 1000+ lives. You will be targeting the VP HR and the people responsible for benefits and compensation. The sales cycles range from 9 to 18 months, and tend to coincide with benefit plan renewals. Concurrently you will develop channel relationships with the insurance carriers (GWL and Sun Life) and the consulting firms (Towers Perrin, Mercer and Morneau Sobeco). These parties are critical for lead generation, supporting the sales process and integrating your services with their plans. This is an entrepreneurial, high growth opportunity. The service is a relatively new concept in Canada. You will be responsible for driving growth, building relationships and evangelizing the product. It requires a savvy solution sales person with excellent relationships skills, very persistent and able to drive sales in a tight community. The position offers a salary of $80-$90k with on target income of $115,000 to $120,000 in year one. It's an open ended comp plan with lots of room for growth. Requirements: - 5+ years of enterprise level sales selling professional services, software or related healthcare products - Proven track record of hunting, developing territories and driving sales - Strong understanding of channel management and developing centers of influence - Experience selling into HR is a key asset - Excellent presentation skills - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with experience selling through RFPs - Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment, and create the resources you need to be successful in sales - Must complete your insurance license within 12 months of joining the companythe company About LEAPJob: LEAPJob is a Toronto-based sales and marketing recruiting firm.
