Length: Approximate 244 workdays Respond By: March 16, 2012 Responsibilities & Deliverables: * Provide technical consulting expertise in data management and database administration to support the project; * Provide project management and team leadership in analysis, design and development of data management structures and large-scale database administration and performance tuning; * Develop methodologies, techniques and tools for reactive and proactive, manual and automated database performance monitoring and for troubleshooting and repairing problems arising in business critical development, testing, training, pre-production and production databases; * Providing data management expertise in development of information technology plans and strategies by: advising on client's database design standards; developing solutions to data recovery/ integrity/ security issues; * Providing expertise in the design and development of data transfer and cleansing strategies to provision and maintain databases with data from other stakeholder legacy and related systems; * Assess impact of data organization/reorganization on systems performance; * Design and development of data warehouse architecture, including models and structures, to allow for the effective and efficient storage, retrieval and analysis of data using business intelligence tools through integration with other software products (e.g. Cognos BI Suite, Curam etc.); * Provide regular weekly status updates to project managers on progress and ensure that that risk/issues are identified; * Manage delivery in middleware software installation, configuration, tuning and administration, as well as application development; * Liaise with the project team, potential cross-organizations partners and stakeholders; * Ensure project deliverables and milestones are completed within the approved project schedule; * Liaise with technical and business resources from various client's organizations to determine the optimal methods for extracting, transferring and maintaining the data; * Provide regular weekly status updates to project managers on progress and ensure that that risk/issues are identified; * Conduct knowledge transfer to designated client's staff. .aioe{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);} Apply here payday loans

Mandatory: * 10+ years in Database Analyst/Administrator role and have sound experience as described under the Responsibilities & Deliverables section; * Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite; * Knowledge of multiple Software Development Life Cycles; * Proven experience in application design, development and systems testing; * Proven experience in business process and data flow requirements mapping; * Experience in designing, developing, testing and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) compliant web-based systems; * Experience in development of business strategies and feasibility studies, Fit/Gap and cost/benefit analysis, business and functional requirements document; * Project management expertise and related experience with all phases of the project lifecycle; * Experience with business methodologies, tools and research techniques; * Experience developing business and logical models; * Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis; * Experience with needs assessment/requirements analysis; * Knowledge of data sampling and collection methods (e.g. surveys, questionnaires) management, analysis and reporting; * Experience with the OPS Enterprise Architecture and/or Zachman framework. Desirables: * Experience working in Social Services or Child Welfare sectors; * Working knowledge or experience with the OPS; * Knowledge in public sector structure and policies, including relevant public policy objectives, principles and constraints.
