The Application Development team within the Information Technology Department has an immediate opening for a Senior Java Developer. This position will be located in Pleasanton, CA, Phoenix, AZ or Vancouver, BC. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Java EE design and implement applications, services and business process. - As a technical lead on projects you are responsible for managing team members and making key technical decisions on technical designs. - Work with the business analysts, architects and engineers to analyze business requirements. - Work with team members distributed across multiple sites. - Apply industry best practices to architecture, design, and programming activities. - Effectively contribute to building the overall knowledge and expertise of the organization. - Provide technical leadership, coach and mentor team members. Qualifications: - B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - 8+ years practical experience in OOAD, Java EE, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST). - Significant experience with application servers such as Websphere, WebLogic, or JBoss. - Significant experience with database technologies including one or more of the following - Oracle, DB2, UDB, SQL Server. - Significant experience in UI/Web 2.0 Development such as JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, Adobe Flash/Flex, Dojo, YUI , JQuery. - Preferred experience with Open Source Frameworks like Struts, Spring, Hibernate. - Significant experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis and optimization in a distributed client/server environment. - Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems. - Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle. - Experience with software development methodologies with preference for agile. - Preferred experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools. - Passionate about delivering quality products in a timely fashion. - Ability to present and communicate ideas to a diverse audience. - Strong mentoring, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead others. - Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. .aioe{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);} Apply here payday loans
