JOB TITLE: Technical Account Manager
DEPARTMENT: Customer Solutions
LOCATION: Markham
JOB SUMMARY:
The Technical Account manager is a key role to manage and close large solution sales activities towards the four market segments - Mobile Operators, Banks, Transit, and OEM/Enterprise. The role includes:
? Create and present solution descriptions towards the customers around the Server Software and Services offerings
? Support the Account manager with product, solution, and technical competence during presentations, commercial offer, and product/technical workshops with the customer
? Define customer requirements and propose the company offering, based on standardized products, and integration/customization elements in conjunction with product management organizations
? RFx management, from a product, solution and technical perspective.
The Technical Account Manager Position is a customer focused technical sales role to initiate and develop meaningful relationships at a senior and experts level within customer organizations. The TAM should support the Sales team; and promote products of the company from a technical perspective, with a commercial awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solution Description and Scope Of Work:
? Together with Secure Devices and product management, drive the creation and launch of solution portfolio
? Market analysis ? identify and quantify opportunities
? Collect and maintain customer / market requirements for the portfolio
Solution Launch:
? Manage market launch of solutions and products, together with product management and product marketing
? Create sales guides for the 3S offering
? Define offering unique selling points, customer business cases and competition Strategy for the solution, in collaboration with involved product managers
Sales:
? Work in close cooperation with the Account manager(s) to manage ongoing and strategic product and solution sale activities
? Support with presentations, offering descriptions
Deliverables include but not limited to:
? Solution Descriptions
? Case studies
? Product/Solution Presentations to customers and partners
? Product offering Descriptions
? Business Case presentations
The job includes being able to travel for periods between one day to one week.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory:
? University degree
? Five or more years of relevant experience in SalesEngineering, of service software solutions, within the B2B segment
? Deep technical understanding of the Mobile Operator and/or Bank network/IT infrastructure
? Proficient in software tools from Microsoft
? Proficient in English
? Extensive experience in delivering customer presentations, for server software products and solutions
? Telecommunications industry experiences
? Strong Technical knowledge and the ability to understand the company?s products and mobile technology. Particularly understanding handsets and SIM cards, and the underlying integration of network elements
? Significant experience in selling/developing/designingcomplex software solutions
Desirable:
? Experience of producing B2B technical solution descriptions
? Experience in software sales within the MNO/Telecom or Bank market segments
? Experience of writing customer proposals
? Other languages - German, Spanish, Portuguese

? Able to work in a team environment, collaborating with international virtual teams, including Account manager, Product managers, Service Delivery manager to define the preferred offering of the company
