Job Title: Outside Sales - Chemicals Location: Toronto Total Income: $70,000 Description: This is an exciting career opportunity for a smart, outgoing sales rep with a track record selling in the chemicals industry. We are working with a leading manufacturer of polyethylene products, industrial resins, compounds and base chemicals. The organization has a stellar reputation for customer retention, quality consistent services and client communications. They are a premium provider, and develop custom engineered solutions for their clients. The outside sales rep is responsible for managing a territory, and sells to both new and existing accounts. You will achieve your quota by growing existing accounts, and prospecting and developing new customers. The role requires a proactive sales person that is smart, connects well with customers, able to sell a technical solution, and can work autonomously with minimal supervision. The position offers a base salary of $55,000 a year plus commissions. Requirements - 3+ years outside sales experience selling chemical products. - Strong track record of prospecting and closing business. - Proactive and driven to manage your sales activities for maximum results. - Strong presentation skills. - Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
