Job Title: Marketing Specialist - Commercial HVAC Equipment Location: Toronto Total Income: $65,000 Description: Are you a strong marketer with a background in HVAC and/or related building products? If so, this is a great opportunity. Our client is a leading manufacturer of commercial HVAC products. Their equipment is used in condo buildings, towers and other environments with large HVAC systems. They are the dominant player in their space with over 80% market share. They are hiring a Marketing Specialist to groom into a Product Manager. You will be taking on a job with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from product development to product launch. The organization has strong systems for product development, and they are looking to build on your experiences and talents. You will manage and grow an existing product line. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle; from working with engineers through to sales and distribution. This is a multi-function role, and requires a hands-on Marketing Specialist. You will be working closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify new market opportunities, develop and launch new products, while supporting them in their current deals. In the first year your two focus areas will be in product development and product launch. You will be bringing products already in the funnel to market. You will be responsible for the full launch: product announcement, integration of products in the ERP, creating data sheets, training sales reps and manufacturers reps, conducting webinars, and be following up on the sales numbers. Concurrently, you will begin the process of new product development: assessing the marketing, working with engineers, and developing your strategy to launch a new set of products in the next fiscal. Requirements: ?3+ years of Marketing in HVAC, pumps and valves, or other engineered building supplies ?Strong understanding and experience in launching new products ?Background in the product development life cycle ?Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering ?Proven track record in product development, and working closely with all core constituents in the process: sales, engineering, customers, suppliers ?Excellent communication and presentation skills ?Strong analytical skills.
