Job Title: Outside Sales - Architectural Products Location: Toronto - Work from home Total Income: $85,000 Description: Do you have a track record of selling to architects, designers and builders? Do you want to sell a premium product for commercial projects? Our client is a leader in acoustical ceiling and wall systems for noise control and sound proofing. Their products stand out, because they are beautiful, unique and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. They provide wood noise control systems. We are looking for a territory sales rep who has experience selling building products through architects, designers and builders. The products are often spec'd by architects, and go through a tendering process. You will oversee the full sales cycle. The company delivers quality solutions by making sure all aspects of the sales process is focussed on customer satisfaction. The compensation is a base salary of $45,000 + a lucrative compensation plan. The sales reps in Alberta are earning over $125,000 a year. The commission plan is open-ended and geared for performance. In addition you will be assigned an active territory on which to build your sales funnel. Requirements - 5+ years selling building products through architects, designers and builders - Strong understanding of the bid, spec, tendering process - Proven hunter and business developer. You will be responsible for hunting and acquiring new projects. - Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings. You will be supported by a strong technical team. Estimates, take-offs and technical quotes are completed by estimating. - Successful sales profile for new business development through cold calling and building relationships - Ability to work independently.
