Job Title: Director of Sales - Process Manufacturing Equipment Location: Richmond Hill Total Income: $200,000 Description: We are looking for a proven Director of Sales with a background of selling process manufacturing equipment to international markets. This is a high growth opportunity with excellent potential. Our client is a leading manufacturer of process manufacturing equipment used in the oil and gas, pulp and paper and other large industrial applications. Their equipment ranges from $250,000 to $1 million per unit. It is sold through EPCs like Fluor Daniel, agencies and large engineering firms. The company is growing rapidly, and finding excellent opportunities to expand in China, India, Brazil, Calgary and Houston (anywhere there is natural gas). As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for top line revenue growth while maintaining pre-set margins. You will oversee a team of 2 outside sales reps, and have an objective to grow that team to 5. You will be responsible for developing the sales strategy, budgeting and executing for results. The role requires strong sales management skills to coach, mentor and develop them to successfully achieve the plan's objectives. This is a hands-on sales role. You will be responsible for managing the large EPC relationships, supporting the reps in the field, and handling deals in open territories. The position requires a technical background. We are only considering candidates with experience selling process manufacturing equipment, engineered equipment used in the oil patch, or equipment in heating, cooling or compressed gases. The role requires travel up to 50%. The growth markets re India, China and Brazil. You will work closely with the CEO to develop the agency/EPC strategy, assess the best partners for the business in each region, develop the relationship, and then setup the sales force to support these partner relationships. International sales experience is a must-have for the role. We are looking for candidates with experience developing international markets for engineered equipment. The position offers a base salary of $120,000 to earn $200k+, benefits and expenses. The position offers excellent career growth. Requirements: - 10+ years of international sales management - Must-have experience selling engineered process manufacturing equipment valued at $100k+ per machine - Strong track record of selling equipment through the bid/spec tendering process to multinational organizations - Well versed in international sales. Experience selling into China, India, Europe or South America. - High degree of diplomacy in dealing with customers, agencies and EPC's in international markets - Strong understanding of sales process, sales metrics and how they apply to managing a sales force selling capital equipment - Excellent negotiating skills of large sales contracts and partner/agency agreements - Engineering background.
