Length: Approx. 3 months with one month possible renewal Respond By: December 6, 2011 Responsibilities & Deliverables: * The client requires a MicroStrategy Upgrade Specialist to perform required configurations in the migration of MicroStrategy to the new industry standard Version 9. The Consultant will report to the client's Manager, Information Resource Management in I.T. with status updates and escalation to be delivered through this channel; * The Consultant, based on an understanding of the client's current MicroStrategy software infrastructure and its underlying data warehouse, is expected to act as the upgrade lead of a major business intelligence (BI) software upgrade project. This work will include but not be limited to: ~ Assist with the update of the MicroStrategy software components where the Intelligence and Web servers reside on AIX platform while the Narrowcast service remains on current Windows-based server; ~ Document custom configuration according to the business categories; ~ Document analysis for each MicroStrategy BI subject area; ~ Assist with System Integration Testing, Client Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing or any client specific software testing; ~ Prepare a new end user training package in co-ordination with the core team; ~ Provide updates of project status to Project Manager; ~ Interact with core team members, end users and other team members. .aioe{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);} Apply here payday loans
