POSITION SUMMARY: Scotia Online Banking is a development area dedicated to creatively applying appropriate development solutions to meet the Bank's needs. Our focus is the Internet Customer platform. The successful applicant will work as an Intermediate Programmer, developing application systems through to implementation KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: ¬∑     Develop application systems through to implementation. ¬∑     Provide investigative summary analysis and technical advice to management, peers and users. ¬∑     Participate in all phases of application development lifecycle QUALIFICATIONS: ¬∑     Solid knowledge of Web / Internet-based design, Web Services. ¬∑     Strong knowledge of J2EE, MQ, DB2 ¬∑     Experience with WebSphere Studio Application Developer  IDE ¬∑     Expert understanding of  Java, JSF, HTML, XML, C++. ¬∑     Basic knowledge of UNIX systems, SUN, AS400. ¬∑     Excellent oral and written skills, both technical and business writing as well as presentation OTHER INFORMATION: ¬∑     Occasional weekends or overtime will be required depending upon project commitments and timelines.
