International Banking Systems- Relationship Management is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst to join its team on a 10 months contract role. Reporting to the Manager, QAT, you will support the International Insurance and Wealth Management business. You will assist the Acceptance Testing group with assigned applications/modules involving new or upgraded functionality. You have knowledge of Insurance Products, experience with INGENIUM 7 Insurance system. You are an effective communication with the ability to work independently and adapt well to change in a fast pace environment. Accountabilities ·         Working closely with the Sr. Business Analyst and Developer you will participate in the review of the Business Requirements documentation. ·         Prepare detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements including anticipated results. ·         Process test cases by inputting the necessary data through the various in Insurance Systems and verify the output data with the predicted results. ·         Assist in conducting Acceptance testing of International Applications, systems in an effective and efficient manner according to the Bank's policies and requirements. ·         Assist in reviewing Project/Release/SSR requirements documentation including Problem Logs relative to the release in order to prepare acceptance test documents, test cases matrices and predicted results to be used in the testing of the new/upgraded code. ·         Check accuracy of documentation associated with changes as they relate to procedural manuals. ·         Assist in reviewing/Input/Update of problem logs on the Aldon Community Manager System Competencies     Must have experience with the INGENIUM 7 Insurance system     Must have knowledge of (Insurance Administration System)     Working knowledge of life insurance administration and wealth management systems.     Knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel)     Working knowledge of testing methodology,     Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and specialized knowledge of business process design, data processing, hardware and software applications.       Strong organizational, planning skills and leadership skills     Excellent communication skills     Ability to work in a fast pace environment.  Education     Business Degree or Diploma     Fellow Life Management Institute - an asset Scotiabank is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all interested parties.
