Sales Representative – Technology Sales Company Description We are a fast paced information technology consulting company located in Cambridge, Ontario, that has been recognized as one of the Profit’s Hot 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Canada. Our primary line of business is to design, implement, support and maintain our customers’ technology infrastructure. We are looking for a personable, motivated and driven Sales Representative to join our team out of the Cambridge office. This position would be responsible for the Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and Mississauga region with at least one day per week in the Cambridge office. A typical day would include working with a wide-variety of customers to: Identify prospective customers by networking, following leads from both existing customers and vendors Formulate sales proposals that explain the product specifications and appropriate applications, in a manner which is understood by the customer Working a list of net new prospective customers through the sales process, from cold call to close Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements Answer customer’s concerns about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms Enable the ongoing technical support of a client’s environment by acting as an escalation point for service issues and scheduling Collaborate with colleagues and business partners to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information Stay informed about new products releases and enhancements Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have: Certification and Education: Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma or equivalent Experience: 3 Years of success in B2B technology sales Approach: Customer service orientated with a “can-do” attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Problem solver and critical thinker Continuous learner Adaptable and flexible Results orientated Organized with attention to detail Must own vehicle This role offers a competitive salary, commission and a benefit plan.
