Designing and deploying complex IP communications solutions. The successful candidate will have a solid background in routing, switching, and specializing in IP communications solutions and applications. This role will involve supporting the FGL core and user infrastructure, along with 600+ remote endpoints. This person will analyze network traffic, provide capacity planning solutions, and will participate in the installation of new technology solutions for data and security infrastructure components. This individual will also be involved in monitoring, fault remediation, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links countrywide. 24x7 on call rotation will be required for the successful candidate. Responsibilities • Excellent project management skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong Communication skills and customer service orientation • Cisco Communications Manager, Unity and UCCX including protocols SIP, MGCP, h323 • Network Management Protocols (SNMP, Syslog) • Firm understanding of multi-vlan, L2/L3 switched networks including rSTP, HSRP, VRRP, PAgP, LACP • Network Routing Protocols: Multi-Area OSPF (v2 and v3), EIGRP, BGP and understanding of route redistribution, ACLs, route-maps, prefix and distribution lists • Knowledge of QoS, and WAN acceleration/optimization • Experience with traffic analyzer software and/or sniffers • Tunneling protocols: GRE & IPSec • Firewall experience including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA /w IPS • Motorola wireless experience, along with associated industry protocols and security. WPA2, 802.1x, 802.11abgn • Experience with WIPS REQUIREMENTS : • 7 years in IT industry, Minimum 3 years experience designing and deploying network infrastructures. Expert in large scale LAN and WAN design and deployment, retail network experience preferred. • Strong working knowledge of networking technologies, Layer 2/3 protocols. Knowledge of Cisco Communications Manager and UCCX administration. • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – required • Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDA) – preferred • Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) – required Desired behaviors • Builds Trust and Credibility by consistently adhering to the organization’s business principles and values.
