Length: Approximately 245 workdays Respond By: February 6, 2013   Responsibilities and Deliverables: ยท          Develop IBM Mainframe programs to facilitate the integration of required functionality of various legacy systems; ยท          Reverse engineer existing interface / integration requirements and business rules; ยท          Conduct / support unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the functionality in scope; ยท          Prepare implementation / deployment package for the affected components; ยท          Post implementation support; ยท          Perform knowledge transfer to client's staff.

Mandatory: Expert / Specialist skills in designing and developing mainframe system applications in large integrated IMS DB/DC Full Function and FASTPATH, IMS/DB2/Relational co-existent environment; Experience in using JCL, TSO/ISPF, BTS, PLI, COBOL, SQL/QMF, REXX, CLIST, IBM Debug Tool, DB2 Stored Procedures, DL/I, OTMA, IMS Connect and XML; Experience with Message Switching / Event Driven Architecture and Screen handling software (SCREENIO); Experience with IBM 3270SNA communications and others such as Communication Manager II; Experience in maintaining complex high volume mainframe online and batch transactions; Experience in using IMS Connect / Resource Adaptor for interacting with IMS applications and data; Experience in implementing global (XA) transaction, 2-phase commit between IMS and mid-tier; Experience in preparing structured program design, technical design and supporting documentation; Experience in preparation of the test strategy, test plan for unit and integration tests; Demonstrated problem resolution and analytical skills; Experience in providing estimates to client committees for work to be done; Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills; Knowledge of system development methodologies; Ability to function effectively as a team member and work collaboratively in harmony with the rest of the team as well as partnering teams; Proven track record of consistently producing results of the highest quality and standard while meeting strict deadlines.
