Main Duties:
1. Manage freight (sea and air) into the USA and Canada (Major mass market retailers such as Walmart, Target, Sears, JC Penny)
2. Ensure best time/cost efficient shipping methods and terms are used, while meeting the customer delivery dates
3. Liaison between purchasing, sales, accounting, and shipping/receiving departments
4. Negotiate rates for freight and customs
5. Communicate with the overseas factories to ensure proper documentation
6. Manage all trans-border and inter-USA truck shipments
Criteria:
1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a traffic coordinator for a fashion company selling to major Canadian and US retailers
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
3.Ability to work under pressure, must be computer literate.
