We currently have a permanent fulltime Telecoms Designer and Draftsperson position available. MAIN DUTIES Assist in the preparation of Telecom contract drawings and specifications for Fibre Optic . Network, VOIP, B-LAN, CCTV. Access Control Public Address and General Alarm Trunk Radio systems Assist in Telecommunication System Design, including; facility room telephone/data outlet design, horizontal and vertical cabling design MDF/IDF design, local and wide area network design Telecommunication room sizing Telecommunication room equipment layout, modular network patch panels/rack configuration design. Telecommunication construction drawings and specifications. Produce method statements, risk assessments, test documents and other project and contractual documentation. Provide support to the installation and commissioning teams. Ensure quality by adhering to the QMS/ISO 9001:2008 procedures. Maintain and develop positive and effective relationships. EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2 ? 5 years? related drafting and/or design experience. Micro-Station experience is a must. Strong PDMS modeling & 2D drawing production along with telecoms systems. Thorough understanding of engineering standards. Good Customer / Client Service Orientation.
