C# Programmer Analyst 280812 Industry Banking City  Scarborough State  Ontario [ON] Country  Canada [CA] Job ID  280812-CIT Title  C# Programmer Analyst - Identify opportunities to automate continuous improvement initiatives - Develop new .NET applications and promote them as per Release Management standards - Participate in requirements gathering and produce technical documents - Provide technical expertise and innovative suggestions for improvements to the Development Manager - Support existing applications and development infrastructure - Adhere to best practices and monitor industry standards - Provide leadership and guidance to Programmer Analyst and Contractor staff Responsibilities  - Provide technical expertise and innovative suggestions for improvements to the Development Manager - Create well-structured applications based on user requirements within an agreed upon timeframe - Thorough understanding of the implication of technological changes, identify/define, evaluate, recommend and implement technical solutions into the department to automate existing manual processes - Conduct testing of new software releases to ensure successful implementation with no adverse impact to the existing environment Conduct performance planning, development and implementation activities for new functionality to improve system use Requirements  Must programmed using all of: - C# .NET Framework 2.0 - 4.5 , SQL 2005/2008, XML/HTML, AJAX and Javascript - Must have expereince with large applications i.e financial or other - Database design skillsets - Analytical, innovative and creative thinker who is receptive to change - Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently - Strong English communication and leadership skills - Strong technical wriiting skills - Ensures work is completed correctly, thoroughly and is of high quality - Finds ways to accomplish the most with the available amount of time and resources and is a self starter - Works effectively with others to achieve common objectives Yrs Experience 4-5 year Benefits Group Benefits Desirable Criteria: - Experience with Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Presentation Foundation - Experience with SOA, JSON and Webservices - Experience with SQL Reporting Services - Experience with SilverLight - Experience with Enitity Framework 4.1 - Experience with Network technologies Contract or Perm: Permanent TO APPLY: 1.
