IT Application Developer - .NET, PL/SQL, Oracle for an 8 month contract in Calgary, AB   We are currently seeking an IT Application Developer for our clients Information Technology team in Calgary, Alberta. The position of IT Application Developer is responsible for the daily support of the industrial systems, user support, and improvements to current systems, development of new applications and to participate in new projects. The primary objective of the position will be to help determine the IT Application needs of the various departments, collaborate with the departments to design new systems or make changes to existing systems, ensure that all needs, designs, changes are documented properly in order to provide continuous support to and ensure that the needs are met in a timely manner. ยท          In order to effectively trouble shoot and solve any issues, we are looking for someone who is creative and detail oriented. ยท          Using your Post secondary education (Degree or tech Diploma), and at least 4 years previous experience, preferably in programming and applications, you will be able to come up with alternative solutions that will be both time and cost effective. ยท          Balancing the priorities of our internal departments with the on-going projects in IT will require someone who is flexible, self-motivated and is able to work with a diverse group of people. ยท          In order to work effectively in your team, you will balance your work with the needs of the team and be committed to ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high quality. ยท          You are excited about new opportunities to learn and grow ยท          It is important that you have working knowledge of the following tools and systems; Oracle Database, SQL, PL SQL, visual tools (.NET), ERP (SAP),   and technical knowledge of systems architecture and operating systems (Unix, Linux and Windows)     This is an 8 month contract with a good chance for extension or to be hired permanently Please forward your resume to Bob Morton: bm@sheridanmorton.com , with App Dev #774615 in the subject line.   SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Verda
