Direct link to apply: https://jobs3.netmedia1.com/cp/job_summary.jsp?job_id=GBS-0489997 As a Business Development Executive (BDE) for Application Management Services (AMS) within Global Business Services (GBS), you are responsible for building a strong pipeline of opportunities across all sectors/industries within AMS and taking them to a qualified stage where you’ll execute a transition to the lead ASC (AMS Sales specialist), solutioning and delivery teams. Working closely with the AMS Sector leads, Partners and Associate Partners, other IBM solution and go-to-market units and third party partners, the BDE creates, articulates, and sells the IBM AMS vision and value proposition. You must be able to demonstrate to client executives a deep understanding of the the clients business, organization, culture, pain points, and compelling reasons to act and translated IBM AMS services into a solution for their challenges. Other major BDE responsibilities: The BDE role is primary a customer facing role and often involves unsolicited executive calling • Identifies, manages and reports on opportunity pipeline • Works inside and outside IBM to find new AMS opportunities • Pro-actively screens the market and identifies potential large services/solution opportunities. • Develops executive level, visionary business value propositions for AMS • Works with marketing teams to create demand generation programs to prospect. • Develops senior management and executive contacts in client organizations. • Develops initial financial analysis to show compelling financial rationales. • Identifies the clients' critical success factors and potential IBM GBS engagement risks. • Recommends opportunities to engage, disqualify, or refer. • Develops a compelling value proposition consistent with the client's critical success factors. • Obtains broad-based client sponsorship for the engagement. • Works closely with the solutioning team to ensure the solution reflects the client’s needs. .aioe{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);} Apply here payday loans
