Main Function: You will initiate and host telephone discussions with IT management in large and mid-sized Canadian organizations to build an understanding of their activities, especially with respect to software systems. Terms of Employment: Contract Salary: $10.25 Hourly for 35 hours per week; milestone bonuses may also apply Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Detailed Description: IT Market Dynamics is currently looking for entry-level Research Associates. The Research Associates will be responsible for initiating and hosting telephone discussions with IT managers, and developing insight into software systems and strategies used within Canadian organizations. These positions offer an opportunity to learn about business use of leading-edge technologies, opportunities to be published by Canada’s leading IT websites and magazines, and the potential for wage increases based on performance and/or for advancement. IT Market Dynamics will work to accommodate all qualified candidates’ schedules and location requirements. Specific Job Responsibilities: Daily functions: Connect with IT managers via telephone, using internal lists and questionnaires; host discussions, capture information, check information for completeness and accuracy; code survey responses and enter the information into databases. Periodic functions: analyze responses; publish articles; work on additional projects if/as required. Location: IT in Canada/IT Market Dynamics Office in Aurora, Ontario (3 vacancies) Work Setting: Market Research Firm Education: Some post-secondary education; knowledge of technology an asset.
