Job Summary Provide professional and specialized services to other business groups. Resolve any store systems issues, innovate processes with the latest technology available on the field and enable the frontline Technology support Center (TSC) team in their daily tasks in supporting store technology to offer world class support to our customers. Responsibilities • Resolve any escalated issues, document procedures for resolution and teach the Technology Support Center team, when possible, to take on any reoccurring incidents. • Bring innovative solutions to store system issues and evolve the current processes and tools by having “out of the box” thinking and using the latest technology available. • Continuously assess and maintain the store systems to ensure optimal performance, up time and customer reliability on the technology in store. • Lead and document projects that pertain to store systems Required Experience and Skills • Point-of-Sale Application and hardware experience • Retail experience • In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems (MS Windows XP, Vista, …) • IBM x86 hardware • Windows 2000 server administration including DHCP and RAID configuration • DOS batch file scripting • Wireless technology configuration and hardware experience • Telecommunication knowledge and experience • Networking configuration knowledge • Database query (SQL, Oracle, MS Access, etc.) knowledge and experience • Problem-Solving skills • Efficient Time Management • Technical Writing • Teamwork • Coaching abilities • Responsible • Flexible Desired behaviors • Builds Trust and Credibility by consistently adhering to the organization’s business principles and values.
