Build timelines and set up deadlines for internal and external use. 2. Ensure product development procedures required by customer are met in a timely manner. 3. Communication with overseas offices & suppliers on a daily basis. 4. Produce detailed technical drawings/ manufacturing specifications/ packing instructions/ labels specifications (technical packages) for overseas suppliers and internal use. 5. Evaluate samples received from suppliers according to the technical specifications and report evaluation results to suppliers. 6. Inspect samples prior to submission to external testing laboratories Criteria: 1. Diploma of collegial studies in fashion design or equivalent. 2. Knowledge and understanding of textile products construction, sewing, design and manufacturing, of production techniques and work methods of the textile/ home products industry. 3. Knowledge and/or understanding of labeling/ packaging legislation and of customers / laboratories protocols related to textile field 4. Knowledge of fabrics properties such as thread count, construction, gsm, finishing treatments, etc. 5. Being familiar with the different quality control tests such as washing tests, shrinkage tests, crocking tests, etc. 6. Excellent computer skills especially in Illustrator, Excel & Outlook. 7. Bilingualism (English / French) spoken and written. Requirements and competencies: 1. Familiar with complexities of working with overseas suppliers. 2. Capacity to manage a big volume of information Committed to objectives in a rapidly evolving environment. 3. Analytical spirit and detail orientation, leadership, motivation, determination. 4. Strong sense of organization of planning, ability to take initiative Strong communication skills and ability to clearly express ideas. 5. Ability to listen to ideas of other colleagues & be empathetic with others. 6. Ability to determine and manage priorities. 7. Excellent computer knowledge in a PC environment.
