Test patterns by making and fitting sample garments, organize Fashion Show. 2. Draw details to indicate where parts are to be joined, as well as positions of pockets, buttonholes, and other features, using computers drafting instruments. 3. Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material, and mark fabric accordingly. 4. Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using charts, drafting instruments, computers, and/or grading devices. 5. Draw outlines of pattern parts by adapting or copying existing patterns, or by drafting new patterns. 6. Create a paper pattern from which to mass-produce a design concept. 7. Position and cut out master or sample patterns, using scissors and knives, or print out copies of patterns, using computers. 8. Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, styleUpdate specifications., identification, and sewing instructions. 9. Compute dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering stretching of material, Update specifications, Work with CAD system to create patterns, markers 10. Drawing with Kaledo system all sketches for Technical specification, Create technical specifications for all products, Propose options for saving fabric. Criteria: 1. Diploma in Textile, Apparel Design, Fashion or related discipline 2. Minimum 2 years experience in patternmaking, grading and garment fitting. 3. Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is essential, Fluency in Spanish would be an asset. 4. Proficiency with MS-Office Suite, Effective communication skills, Proven track record in managing effective customer relations. 5. Thorough knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, patterns, blue prints, drawings and models.
