Founded in 2001, É-Motion Solutions is a Québec City area business specialized in the field of augmented reality. We are currently developing and fine-tuning a 3D visualization system made up of software and electronic components allowing the user to artificially add information on an object, a place or an environment. This system will therefore allow the user to visually sense three dimensional images added to reality. The highly realistic added images will augment reality in order to make up, improve or perfect the user's real environment.
We are currently demonstrating the Avatar system to the cultural and archeological sectors and applying it to the enhancement of objects, places or events. However, it is obvious that the system will be applicable to fields such as: the military, the medical, construction, industrial maintenance, aerospace, and guided assembly sectors and even to the leisure sector.
The R&D work currently underway at É-Motion Solutions is at the development stage and is being concentrated on both the visualization system and the tracking system.
