CARIS Announces Call for Papers for International Users Conference

The CARIS 2010 program will focus on core issues that relate to the innovation and integration of geospatial technologies in the areas of chart production, hydrographic survey, ports and waterways and web mapping.

Through the following paper themes, the event will expand awareness and implementation of best practices and effective solutions for data management and production performance and will solidify the role of all stakeholders in the broader marine geospatial community:

-Bathymetric Revolutions,
-Production Environments: Desktop versus Enterprise,
-Ping-to-Chart,
-Workflow Optimization,
-Specialized Chart Products,
-Merging Land and Sea.
