BioStrategis® extends network to broaden its coverage of international markets

Montreal, Canada, May 19, 2009 - BioStrategis, a strategic life sciences consortium dedicated to providing scientific and business services to the international life sciences industry, announces today that three new members have joined the consortium bringing additional depth to the existing team through their contacts and international market experience. Sabine Kerner and John Lawson are experts in international strategy, marketing and business development with established relationships throughout Europe and Asia in the fields of Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, Cleantech and MedTech; Nathaly J. Vermette enhances the talent pool with her international experience in trade-marks and intellectual property law combined with business law. Ms. Vermette also offers access to extensive business networks.

'Our new members bring to our consortium a high level of industry knowledge from past experiences', said Danièle DesChênes, co-founder of BioStrategis. 'Having worked at a senior level in several different capacities including R&D, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Legal Affairs, the new team members strengthen BioStrategis' capabilities, already firmly established in business, finance, legal, scientific and regulatory affairs as well as international market development', continued Ms. DesChênes.
