Colligo Takes Immediate, Out-of-Box Messaging & File Transfer to Motion Computing's New M1200 Tablet PC

Colligo's "instant network" software to provide Motion M1200 Tablet PC
customers with instant, device-to-device messaging and file sharing over
embedded WLAN technology

VANCOUVER, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - Colligo Networks, Inc., a provider of ultra-
portable collaborative messaging software, and Motion Computing, an innovator
in ultra-mobile computing and wireless communications, have partnered to
deliver Colligo Personal Edition on the new Motion M1200 Tablet PCs shipping
later this month. Recently demonstrated by Microsoft at their exclusive Tablet
PC launch event in New York, Colligo Personal Edition provides instant file
exchange and private messaging directly between mobile professionals using
their WLAN-enabled M1200s without the need for central access points, servers,
or Internet connections. Tablet PC users (and users of other Windows-based
mobile devices) gain productivity and convenience as soon as they power on
their device while reducing the frustration normally associated with
alternative communication methods such as finding an Internet connection, one-
to-one infrared beaming, or waiting to send email later.

Continuing with its successful mobile device manufacturer partnering,
Colligo's innovative "instant network" solution helps Motion provide its
customers with immediate, out-of-box use and application for their new Tablet
PC's embedded WLAN technology. Colligo provides easy-to-use, lightweight
personal and workgroup productivity solutions constructed around a patent-
pending core of dynamic discovery of nearby people and resources. This means
servers and corporate networks aren't required for users to instantly and
easily communicate and exchange information with those around them. Personal
Edition is a must-have utility for individuals looking to quickly and easily
exchange files and privately message each other. Workgroup Edition, also
available through Motion joint marketing and sales promotions with Colligo, is
a unique productivity tool for workgroups on the go that need to securely
communicate, exchange information, share resources, and synchronize data - all
without a server.

"The Motion M1200 Tablet PC combines the best industry hardware and
wireless technology in an ultra-mobile form factor with Microsoft's powerful
new operating system," said Scott Eckert, CEO, Motion Computing. "Integrating
all the functionality with a spacious 12.1" display , weighing less than 3
lbs. and Colligo's Personal Edition, means Motion customers will benefit from
'instant-on' personal productivity where-ever they are."

"Colligo's unique peer-to-peer 'instant network' solutions are a natural
fit for the highly mobile Tablet PC form factor as proven by Microsoft's on-
stage demonstration of Workgroup Edition at the recent New York launch," said
Barry Jinks, President and CEO, Colligo Networks. "To have our applications
included and associated with a top Tablet PC vendor like Motion Computing
validates the need for on-the-fly messaging and resource sharing for
individuals and workgroups on the go."

Colligo Personal Edition is for any mobile professional using a Tablet PC
(or other Windows or Pocket PC device) that needs to quickly and easily
communicate or work with somebody nearby including when running into a co-
worker in the hall or coming together in a meeting room. No need to send
emails later or disrupt the flow of a meeting. Colligo Workgroup Edition
enhances workgroup productivity and offers SSL-based data encryption, user
authentication, folder and printer sharing, and increases the maximum number
of users to 50. It's for workgroups on the go such as project, consultant,
sales, financial, or legal teams that need to be more productive together
without the hassle and time normally needed for IT departments to provide
remote office connections or to build "mini-LANs" in the field. With either
product, M1200 users can communicate with other Tablet PCs, desktops,
notebooks, and handhelds running the Colligo client.
