Flowfinity Business Apps with RFID Reading Now Available for Android

Leveraging built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) features of popular smartphones, Flowfinity software allows companies to customize their own data collection apps and mobile forms that perform interactive or background RFID scanning without the need for peripheral hardware.
RFID scanning with Flowfinity on Android smartphones can be used to keep track of high-value items such as laptops or servers, take inventory of spare parts and products, perform rounds with RFID checkpoints, or scan other RFID tags. Flowfinity allows data collected or scanned from Android devices to be sent directly to a standalone database or integrated with enterprise systems.
Mobile forms and apps are fully customizable without programming, so that companies can create their own adaptable system for scanning and managing RFID data collection. Workflow such as automatic notifications can be built-in, for example sending an email notification if an item is found outside a pre-determined zone or if a mobile employee fails to record a checkpoint during an inspection tour.
