IT in Canada’s YouTube channel passes 100 video mark
May 7, 2012. IT in Canada, Canada’s only integrated social media news network, celebrated three YouTube milestones this month:
- The IT in Canada YouTube channel has now been active for one year
- IT in Canada recently added its 100th video (and now has 104 posted to the channel)
- The IT in Canada YouTube channel has surpassed 18,000 total video views
IT in Canada’s Chief Content Officer Michael O’Neil praised the work of the editorial staff, particularly Mary Allen and Chris Rogers. “Mary has brought her camera to cover IT and product news into events across Canada – from Canada 3.0, to Datacentre Dynamics and the Green Living Show– and she has provided video footage from the US and Europe. In fact, two of the most popular videos on our YouTube channel are of Meg Whitman’s welcome keynote at HP’s Discover Vienna 2011 and from a tour of the new HP data centre in Fort Collins.
“Chris’s work has mainly been in the area of video product reviews. Our single most popular video was his “first look” at the HP Z1 workstation, and several of Chris’ other product-related videos – on products from ViewSonic and Lenovo – have also topped 1000 views each.”
The IT in Canada YouTube channel is a rich repository of personal perspectives from IT industry executives, entrepreneurs, and IT business and consumer users, at the technology companies, trends and products that shape our environment.
